I use dental implants in several key ways. First, most customers choose to have dental implants instead of getting a root canal and a crown. If you choose a dental implant, we try to avoid leaving the superfluous dead tooth matter in your jaw. In many cases, customers think the implant is a better solution than having a root canal.

You can also make use of the dental implant to support a partial or full denture. Yes, that's correct - life can be difficult without dentures for a lot of people. Dentures can be bothersome, though. Often they become loose and restrict your ability to eat what you want.

So sometimes I might need to put in some implants. The implants give the dentures a solid hold. I have seen for myself how it can change a person's life. The differences are clear to see, it sends your confidence sky high and you forget about your dentures whenever you eat.

I am able to use implants in another way. I can try to replace an old bridge or aging crowns that tend to be leaky and need repairs. The implants are probably a superior solution than the old crowns or bridge that need to be taken care of.

You might have had a fine bridge or great crowns. It doesn't reflect on the quality.

However, each restoration has a lifeline that doesn't last forever. When you have to remove what you considered top-notch crown and bridge construction done previously, my Northampton dental implants may be what you want.

Implants are free of many of the problems associated with a bridge. A feature of a bridge is that it has gum beneath it so you can't always get to them easily with a brush. An implant, however, has a crown that I make sure is anchored it into the gum and is free of empty spaces. Because of this, implants can be somewhat kinder to your gums and jaw.

I would advise you to make sure you replace missing teeth and do so with implants. Any missing teeth could be the cause of more bone loss in the jaw, which is the last thing you want down the line. A tooth that is missing makes nearby teeth start getting loose and can result in your teeth going out of shape.

I put in a lot of effort to ensure you can hold on to your natural teeth. Sometimes, though, we have to try something else. The best alternative is having a dental implant.
